The Kite Runner

It's a story talking about the

human nature.

Amir is the male title role.

He is the privileged son of

a wealthy businessman.

Hassan is the the son of

Amir's father's servant. Hassan

continually practices his loyalism to

Amir. Everytime when Amir was bullied, Hassan always protect him.




There is a competition which is running kites. They will gain the

honor from the competition. In once competition, Hassan in order

to protect the kite which symbolize the love that Amir's father

show to Amir, Hassan encounter the rape of the same sex.

But Amir hide in the shelter rather then help his best friend.

This unspeakable event changes the nature of their relationship

forever. Even after, Amir and his father flee to America, Amir

remains feel regretful to Hassan. After 20 years , Hassan died

and leave a children. Amir in order to make expiation of Hassan,

He come back to Afghan to help the Hassan' son.

At the end of story, Amir take Hassan's son out to fly a kite and tell him

"For you, a thousand time over."

as like that Hassan do before.

When I read this novel, I feel the characters auther has created

that seem so real. I almost hard to beleive that the characters is

fictional. It's a stroy which can touche one deeply in the heart.

And the author's writting skill always made the reader just like

in the scene.

This is a good novel, and I want to recommend to you to take a look.
